11-15-03--There was green and yellow (and even a little orange) all over the Doppler radar, but Bo Yule and I decided to brave the elements to help Bill Owens celebrate his 50th birthday by riding 50 miles.  (Actually, Bo and I set out to do 20 miles, which grew to 30, and finally the Full Monty.)  The weather gods decided so smile on us late in the ride, and the last ten miles or so turned quite pleasant, with most of the rain becoming the type that rose vertically from the back tires of Bo's and Bill's tires.  Happy Birthday, Bill!
