Update, Oct 2005
Our Soma Rush has been sold! Its new owner is enjoying riding it, and we're glad to see it out on the road.
February 2004--We've taken up fixed gear riding!  Here is our 2004 Soma Rush, from Soma Fabrications in San Francisco.  For now, Campy parts on this bike are limited to the pedals (Record Ti), brake levers (Record), and brake (Chorus, front only), but we'll work on it ...  Other features include a Brooks Professional saddle.  (BTW, not a speck of ShimaNO anywhere on the bike, 'natch!)

In keeping with our trend toward steel frames, the Soma is ferrous all the way--Reynolds 631 frame tubes and steel fork.  Geometry is track-style, but with drilling for brakes to make it road-worthy.  More info at Soma's web site: Soma Rush

May 14, 2004--Our Soma the day before the Davis Double. Note that it now sports a Record Pista crankset, and wheels built with Phil Wood hubs.

For the DC, we put on a clip-on headlight (just in case). Rims are Open Pro Ceramics, built by Tim Brockett at Branford Bike

We found this small plug to fill the unused rear brake hole and keep water and gunk out of the frame.
