Hats off again to Craig Robertson, his
wife Lorna, and crew of fabulous volunteers for hosting another Winter
Solstice Double Century. Originally scheduled for December 14,
2002, the ride was postponed by rain to January 4th, 2003, a day which
dawned bright, clear, and surprisingly warm. Ten riders headed out
from San Jose to the turnaround at Pinnacles; another ten or so left
from Gilroy for the 100-mile version.
