Here's a few pics of one of my pride-and-joys: a 1976 Alan "Super Record" (Alan's model designation) with all original first-generation Super Record components including Type I (hollow) SR bottom bracket and SR pedals. Pantagraphed parts include the brake calipers and brake levers, shift levers, and front derailleur. Olmo alloy bolts are all over the bike including titanium brake center bolts. Saddle is a period Avocet Racing III with alloy rails. Seat post is a rare NR "superleggero" (non-fluted) with alloy rail holders and Olmo bolts again. The freewheel is a Regina "Extra" 5-speed with aluminum cogs; chain is an Everest with cutout aluminum and steel side plates. Toe clips and straps are Christophe alloy including the buckles. Early 1/R stem and old-logo 64/38 bars are accented with hand-stitched leather bar wrap (not a Cinelli VIP kit, though, which came later). Spokes are 15/16g Trois Etoile, rims are Nisi Sludi, and tires are Clement Criterium Seta. The complete bike weighs 17 lbs...only slightly ahead of its time
