A relatively little-know facet of Campagnolo's history is the BMX (bicycle motocross) market.  Shown below is an interesting example of an all-Campy off-road BMX bike (in this case, a gold-plated show bike that was never actually ridden).

The "all-Campy" drivetrain on this bike consists of a crankset and hubs--everything else on this particular bike is a mix of other makers.  The gold anodizing was not stock . . .
