Those obscure Campagnolo
icons . . .
You've most likely seen them--a
collection of circles, triangles, and rectangles that
look more like crop circles than bike parts. They do, of
course, stand (in Campy's iconography) for each of the
component parts of a bicycle that Campagnolo makes.
But which symbol stands
for what? To answer that nagging question, we now present
the complete Campagnolo icon collection, as presented in
Campy's 1996 parts catalog:
