February 17, 2007--After two years of cold
and rain, the Butterfield Double Century turned warm and sunny.
Riders who last year had to bundle up against the cold this year were
peeling off layers and slathering on sunscreen, as temperatures climbed
into the 80s. Presented below, photos by Campy Only.
Our ride stats: 76-inch fixed gear, 13:53 total time start to
finish. Out altimeter showed about 9,000 feet of elevation gain, a
reading corroborated by GPS info.
